Training and courses

Diver training is provided by three experienced instructors:

Francis Bouchard (ACUC 492FA, AMCQ CAN-F05-M2-03-08)
Laurent Fortin (ACUC 023FA)
Serge Lavoie (NAUI 11022)

Basic open water courses are offered several times each year. Advanced and specialized training is available on request.

Pool sessions are carried out at the Pierre Harvey pool (Ecole Paul-Hubert) in Rimouski and at the deep training tank of the Institut Maritime du Quebec. The instructors make sure that all students are well prepared to face the diving conditions they will encounter in our area. This includes pool training and certifications using drysuits.

The check-out dives are carried out either from the seashore or in a lake if the ocean conditions are not favorable.
